This week, the Lord has highlighted the importance of always staying connected to God and being aligned in the place of prayer. That God said 'go' last week does not mean that the instruction is still 'go' today. Today, the instruction may be 'wait'.

Apostle Paul was ordained to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles (Galatians 1:15-16). He was called out and sent on that assignment (Acts 13:2) and that was the 'go' he received.

Acts 13:2 - “As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”

Then we see that the instruction he received in Acts 13 was different from the instruction he received three chapters after that, in Acts 16.

Acts 16:6-7 - “Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia. After they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them.”

This highlights the importance of staying connected to God in devotion for the next steps. This is how we avoid errors on seemingly right journeys.
